Oceanview Heights Main Teaching Block Refurbishment

The main teaching block at Oceanview Heights has been a cornerstone of the school’s community for over 80 years. Recognizing the need for a significant upgrade due to weatherboard decay and persistent leaks, the school commissioned NB Architects to revitalise the building’s appearance and functionality. The principal’s vision was to create a fun, inviting, and inspiring environment for children to learn and grow.

Our solution involved a complete exterior reclad using durable aluminum cladding, providing longevity and weather resistance while updating the building’s aesthetic appeal. Internally, the space was fully refurbished to foster a vibrant and engaging atmosphere. Bold, bright colors and innovative joinery features were incorporated both inside and outside, reinforcing the school’s lively and welcoming spirit.

This comprehensive refurbishment successfully met the school’s vision, transforming the aging structure into a modern, durable, and engaging learning environment.
