Materiality plays a central role in grounding the home within its environment. Feature stone cladding provides a sense of permanence and texture, while polished concrete floors deliver durability and thermal performance suited to rural living. Exposed timber trusses define the main living spaces, adding warmth, scale, and a clear expression of structure throughout the interior.

A stepped-down lounge creates a subtle shift in level within the open-plan living area, forming an intimate retreat while maintaining visual continuity to the wider space and views beyond.
